On Saturday we will gather from 14:00 and leave from Vajdahunyad Castle at 15:00. Be sure to come and join Hungary’s most liberated party!
Assembly starts at 14.00 and the event ends at 20.00. The Pride organisers will open the event at 14.45 on the stage in the shadow of the trees in the green area in front of Vajdahunyad Castle and let us go our way. The procession will set off on its Freedom Tour at around 15.00, and we are scheduled to return at around 17.00 – but we will have covered a lot of ground by then. Speeches will start at 17.00, there will be singing and a drag show, and the Civil Village will host a colourful line-up of Hungarian NGOs. And the vibes will only get better until 20.00 under the canopies and over the soft lawn.
You can join the procession anywhere along the route: whether you want to join at Vajdahunyad Castle, or on Andrássy avenue, or at Oktogon, or later on Teréz boulevard, the gates are open! From Teréz boulevard we turn to Király street, where you can also enter, as well as from all the streets along the way. The next stop is Felsőerdősor street, from where we will go to Kodály circus and turn right onto Andrássy street, towards Heroes’ square. After bypassing Heroes’ square, we will finally return to Vajdahunyad Castle, where we can take a rest. Our escorts will ensure your safety during the entire duration and length of the parade!
