The next qLit hike is coming soon! This will be a shorter trip, the maximum number of participants is 40! The date of the program: 24 March.
How can you participate?
Participation in the trip is free, but donations are accepted.
Make sure you register, as we will send the exact details to the email address you provide on the registration form. In case of bad weather, for example, we will let you know here if the trip is cancelled.
Details of the trip
- We will start the tour on Sunday, 24 March at 9:30am
- Starting from Budaörs, from Kálvária Square, we will take an 8-kilometer round trip touching the Mediterranean-style Odvas Mountain.
- The difference in level of the route is 260 m, there are several small ups and downs, and some more tiring climbs await the applicants.

- Landscape: Buda Mountains – Budaörsi Kopárok
- Route: Budaörs (Kálvária square) – Odvas-hegy – Farkas-hegy – Szekrényes-hegy – Szállás-hegy – Budaörs (Kálvária square)
- Distance: 8 km
- Expected duration: 3-4 hours (including breaks).
What to expect?
- Getting there and back: Take bus 88 or 40 from Kelenföld BKK Bus Station to the Kisfaludy utca stop in Budaörs.
- How long will it take: we plan to leave for Budapest around half past 1 – 2 at the latest
- What to bring: hiking boots, food and drink (There is no possibility to drink water on the way, make sure you have enough liquid)
