After a long, compulsory break we’re back in a very irregular way. We’ll be waiting you on the 8th of August, Saturday on Margaret Island with an all day long, free event.
You can come alone or with friends, just bring a blanket, some snacks, drinks and you’re done. If you arrive alone, we’ll still be able to find you a team for the obstacle course and the quiz as well.
IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to register ON THIS FORM if you’re interested. This won’t commit you to anything, but this way we’ll have your email address, where we can contact you with all the important information, the exact place before the event and if needed, changes due to weather.
Program
10 AM to 12 PM: Obstacle course – May the best team win
An outside obstacle course with qLit, evoking your high school years! We’re expecting teams with 4 to 6 members to a both mentally and physically demanding set of challenges in fresh air. You’ll meet various dexterity or intellectual challenges. Even if you arrive alone or with only a few friends, we can still find you a team!
12 PM to 3 PM: Picnic, laying around, playing cards or badminton, eating and drinking
3 PM to 4:30 PM “Pub Quiz”
Teams of 4 to 6 gather, qLit’s Pub Quiz is back! It’s also OK if you come alone, sometimes people teamed up on the spot are the best!
About the game: We ask verbally, you give a written answer on paper we handed out. Two rounds, 30 questions. After the first 15, there’s a short break, checking the answers, announcing partial results and the correct answers. Then another 15, answers and then final results.
