“No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
(John Donne)
Our interview series aims to give voice to a member of our community every month. This month, we are turning to those collectively who are being forced to flee because of the war. Primarily to members of the Ukrainian LGBTQ community fleeing the bombings, but let us not forget the members of the Russian LGBTQ community fleeing imprisonment for their anti-war demonstrations either.
If you want to help or need help, we would like to raise your attention to two organizations.
