For the 29th time, on the 22nd of June, the Budapest Pride march will start again. The organisers welcome everyone who would like to live in a free, accepting, and democratic country.
The slogan remains the same: ‘Take back your future!’, pointing to the systemic problems (racism, housing crisis, ecological crisis, crisis of faith in democracy, homophobia, transphobia, and sexism) present in society, which have different effects but similar roots, mutually reinforcing each other, as well as to the solutions to be sought.
For the third year now, more than 35,000 people marched together through the streets of Budapest in a great atmosphere. 2024 should be no different!

From where? – from the beginning of Podmaniczky Street (towards Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street)
